With frigid conditions and a mounting snow storm outside, a huge night of fights was getting underway inside for RING OF COMBAT 43 at The Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. This is the first time ROC has returned to “The Shore” since they cancelled an event shortly after Hurricane Sandy.

MIKE “YOUNG SAMSON” MEDRANO vs. CHRIS WADE (155lbs.) Winner by unanimous decision 30-27, 30-28, 29-28 CHRIS WADE. Fight of the night so far…A back and forth affair with neither fighter really owning the cage. As the rounds progressed, it seemed that Medrano’s cardio couldn’t stand up.
ARIEL SEPULVEDA vs. RYAN CONTAIDI (185lbs.) Winner by unanimous decision ARIEL SEPULVEDA 29-28. This was a great fight. Sepulveda won the stand up game, but Contaldi certainly won the ground game, and convincingly from what I could tell.
